What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy treatments are injectable treatments using special cocktails made of small amounts of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals and peptides applied into the middle layer of the skin (mesoderm). Depending on the application purpose and the applied area, injections are made at 1-2 cm intervals using very fine needles at a depth of 2-13 mm.
Mesotherapy is a very effective method in the treatment of various conditions such as skin rejuvenation, blemishes (pigmentation), acne, cellulite, skin laxity, cracks, regional thinning and hair loss.
It is not recommended to be applied in cases of allergy to any component, skin infection, autoimmune disease, those taking immunosuppressant therapy, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
There may be swelling, redness and small needle marks that regress within 24-48 hours after treatment. This may take a little longer around the eyes, other than that, mesotherapies are not treatments that prevent social life.
Depending on the age of the patient, for which condition and on which area it is applied, it requires a total of 2-10 sessions at intervals of 1-2 weeks on average.
Mesotherapy can be done at any age. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the skin and decreases as we age. Injecting these agents into the mesoderm is completely safe and provides a very effective rejuvenation treatment.

Mesotherapy in Skin Rejuvenation
During the aging process, the skin's ability to renew itself gradually decreases. It becomes a more matte, looser skin. This is basically associated with decreased production of elastin and collagen. Mesotherapy triggers collagen and elastin production by injecting special cocktails containing hyaluronic acid and creates a healthy and glowing skin. Mesotherapy is applied for skin rejuvenation in various body parts, especially on the face, neck, décolleté and hands.
Mesotherapy drugs consist of special mixtures that moisturize the skin and provide its tension. Vitamin-containing injections that give moisture and glow to the skin are most often preferred.
It is also possible to get rid of problems such as skin spots, acne formation and sagging by preparing special drug mixtures with mesotherapy.
The application is made at intervals of 2-4 weeks. The number of sessions varies between 2-2-6 sessions depending on the age of the patient and the structure of the skin. The event lasts for about 1 year.
The use of sunscreen should be recommended to patients. During the treatment, it is necessary to avoid extremely hot environments such as sauna, jacuzzi and direct sunlight. On the day of the treatment, the skin should be kept clean and make-up should not be applied.
Mesotherapy in Hair Loss
The first thing to do in hair loss is to determine the cause. Hair loss is divided into two as genetic ones and non-genetic ones. Non-genetic hair loss can be caused by some diseases such as anemia, vitamin deficiencies, hormonal diseases, stress and some medications. Mesotherapy can be applied in hair loss caused by both genetic and non-genetic reasons, by creating special drug mixtures for the cause. Depending on the cause of hair loss, specially prepared drugs containing vitamins, proteins and minerals, minoxidil or finasteride are injected into the scalp.
In addition to being one of the most effective ways to treat hair loss, mesotherapy produces thicker, fuller and healthier looking hair strands for people with unhealthy and thin hair strands.
Depending on the cause and the extent of the hair loss, the treatment is applied in 6-10 sessions at intervals of 1-4 weeks.
Mesotherapy in Cellulite
In cellulite, the skin becomes indented and protruding as the fat cells under the skin store more than necessary. The main problem here is the deterioration of circulation.
Cellulite, which is the problem of many women, is often not eliminated by simply losing weight. Diet alone causes fat loss in normal parts and problem areas become more prominent. With mesotherapy, special mixtures that break down fat cells by regulating circulation in problematic areas are injected.
Following a suitable diet and starting an exercise program together with mesotherapy improves the result, especially in overweight patients. In cellulite, mesotherapy is applied in 8-12 sessions at intervals of 2-4 weeks.
Regional Thinning and Mesotherapy
Many people, including those who do not have overweight problems, encounter regional lubrication problems in the jowl, abdomen, waist, arms and legs. It is not always possible to achieve thinning in these areas with diet and exercise alone.
With mesotherapy, it is aimed to break up the fat cells in these stubborn areas and remove them from the body. Special mixtures of agents that regulate circulation, break down fat cells and trigger collagen production are injected.
As with cellulite treatment, the results are much more promising when combined with diet and exercise. The treatment is applied in 8-10 sessions at intervals of 2-4 weeks.
